Salary Range: $52,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues for hardware, software, and network connectivity across office and manufacturing environments.
  • Provide technical support for specialized shop floor equipment, including industrial PCs, label printers, and barcode scanners.
  • Support core manufacturing applications such as ERP, MES, and other production management systems.
  • Respond to and resolve help desk tickets efficiently, escalating complex issues to appropriate IT teams or vendors.
  • Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and deployment of IT assets, minimizing disruption to production operations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of IT hardware and software licenses used throughout the facility.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide emergency IT support for 24/7 manufacturing operations.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing-specific software (e.g., MES, ERP) and industrial IT environments.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical information for non-technical users.
  • Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools for ticketing and documentation.
  • Ability to provide hands-on, on-site support within a dynamic manufacturing or production setting.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience supporting users of manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365)
  • Familiarity with industrial hardware (e.g., barcode scanners, label printers, ruggedized PCs) or shop floor systems
  • Basic understanding of Operational Technology (OT) or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
  • Exposure to CAD/CAM software or other engineering applications
