Salary Range: $52,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues, including desktops, laptops, and manufacturing floor equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues impacting production, such as specialized shop floor applications, label printers, and HMI workstations.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights for various systems, ensuring compliance with security policies.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting for connectivity issues affecting office and factory floor devices.
• Document all support requests, resolutions, and common issues in the ticketing system to build a knowledge base.
• Assist with the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment across manufacturing plant and office environments.
• Escalate complex technical problems to higher-tier support or specialized teams, ensuring timely resolution for critical systems.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common hardware (PCs, printers).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service focus.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively.
• Basic understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN) and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with IT support challenges and environments specific to manufacturing operations.
• Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools and incident documentation.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience supporting manufacturing-specific software (e.g., ERP, MES, SCADA).
• Familiarity with industrial hardware, PLCs, or OT networks.
• Knowledge of mobile devices and barcode scanners used in production environments.
• Understanding of IT security considerations in an Operational Technology (OT) context.
