Salary Range: $56,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily finishing operations, including painting, coating, assembly, and packaging.
• Ensure all finished products meet specified quality standards and customer requirements.
• Manage, train, and schedule finishing personnel to optimize productivity and skill development.
• Monitor production schedules and workflows to ensure timely completion and delivery targets are met.
• Implement and enforce all safety regulations and procedures within the finishing department.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to finishing equipment, processes, and materials.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in finishing operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role within finishing operations.
• In-depth knowledge of various finishing processes (e.g., painting, assembly, coating, final inspection) and associated equipment.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a production team effectively.
• Strong understanding and application of quality control standards, inspection methods, and continuous improvement principles.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, including knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification/experience
• Proficiency with manufacturing execution systems (MES) or ERP software
• Experience with advanced automated finishing equipment or robotics
• Demonstrated ability in developing and delivering team training programs
