Salary Range: $53,000 - $87,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC Swiss-type lathes to produce precision parts according to specifications.
- Perform in-process quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and optical comparators.
- Load raw material, adjust machine offsets, and make minor program edits (G-code) as needed.
- Monitor machine operation, detect malfunctions, and troubleshoot basic alarms or issues.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety procedures.
- Complete production logs, quality records, and other required documentation accurately.
Recommended Qualifications
- Direct experience operating and setting up CNC Swiss-type lathes.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering blueprints, including GD&T.
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, optical comparators) for quality inspection.
- Ability to perform tool changes, offset adjustments, and basic program edits (G-code/M-code).
- Strong understanding of machining principles, materials, and troubleshooting common issues.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with G-code and M-code programming.
- Proficiency with CAM software (e.g., PartMaker, Esprit).
- Advanced metrology skills (e.g., CMM operation, optical comparator).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and perform minor machine maintenance.
- Experience operating other CNC machine types (e.g., mill, turn).
