Salary Range: $55,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs for multi-axis milling machines.
• Generate efficient and safe tool paths using CAM software.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, holders, and workholding fixtures.
• Simulate and verify CNC programs to ensure collision avoidance and part accuracy.
• Create detailed setup sheets, tool lists, and operational instructions for machine operators.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve design and production challenges.
• Troubleshoot and debug programs on the shop floor, implementing necessary modifications.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks CAM).
• Strong understanding and ability to write/edit G-code and M-code.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and GD&T.
• Demonstrated experience with multi-axis CNC milling machines and programming.
• Knowledge of cutting tools, workholding, and fixture design principles.

Bonus Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as a CNC Machinist.
• Proficiency with multiple CAM software packages (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360).
• Experience in designing custom workholding fixtures or tooling.
• Ability to create and modify CAD models for manufacturing purposes.
