Salary Range: $56,000 - $90,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and optimize CNC programs for lathe machines using CAM software and G-code.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, holders, and workholding devices based on part specifications and material.
- Design and create detailed setup sheets, tool lists, and other manufacturing documentation.
- Conduct program verification through simulation and first article run-offs, making necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and quality personnel to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
- Analyze existing programs to identify opportunities for cycle time reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Maintain and update a library of CNC programs and related manufacturing data.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Fusion 360) for generating complex turning programs.
- Strong understanding of G-code and M-code programming for Fanuc or similar CNC controls.
- Ability to interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and GD&T specifications.
- Extensive knowledge of lathe tooling, inserts, and workholding methods for various materials.
- Experience with process optimization, cycle time reduction, and troubleshooting common machining issues.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience programming multi-axis or mill-turn CNC machines.
- Proficiency with advanced CAM software features, including post-processor customization.
- Familiarity with metrology equipment and GD&T principles for quality assurance.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
