Salary Range: $86,000 - $126,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities.
• Facilitate root cause analysis (RCA) and implement robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) using methodologies like 8D or DMAIC.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Statistical Process Control (SPC) plans and perform Measurement System Analysis (MSA).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, process reliability, and reduce defects.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to integrate quality requirements into new product development (NPD) and process changes.
• Conduct and review Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for products and processes.
• Ensure compliance with industry quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949) and customer-specific requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D problem-solving).
• Strong proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation for process control and improvement.
• In-depth knowledge of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and their practical application.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Proven ability to lead complex root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Master Black Belt (MBB) certification.
• Experience with advanced statistical modeling or machine learning applications for quality prediction and optimization.
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL) for data analysis automation.
• Familiarity with Industry 4.0 concepts and digital quality tools (e.g., IoT, AI for defect detection).
