Salary Range: $48,000 - $74,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform machine setups, changeovers, and adjustments according to production schedules.
• Install, calibrate, and verify tooling, fixtures, and molds.
• Conduct first-piece inspections and obtain quality approval for production runs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve setup-related issues and minor machine malfunctions.
• Optimize machine parameters (e.g., speed, feed, temperature) to achieve desired product specifications and efficiency.
• Maintain accurate setup documentation, log sheets, and equipment status records.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure seamless transitions and process improvements.

Recommended Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in machine setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with various hand and power tools.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing safety protocols and quality control standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming or troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software.
• Basic welding or fabrication skills.
