Salary Range: $48,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various materials and thicknesses.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and work instructions.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and tools.
• Inspect welded joints and components for quality, defects, and adherence to specifications.
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and parts according to designs.
• Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces prior to welding.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and procedures in the welding area.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes.
• Minimum 2 years of professional welding experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Demonstrated understanding and adherence to welding safety standards and quality control procedures.
• Experience working with various metal types, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
• AWS D1.1 or equivalent welding certification is preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with various fabrication techniques (cutting, fitting, grinding).
• Ability to operate forklifts, overhead cranes, or other material handling equipment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of quality control principles and inspection methods.
• Experience with advanced welding processes or specialized materials.
