Salary Range: $46,000 - $69,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify product specifications.
  • Document inspection results accurately and maintain comprehensive quality records and databases.
  • Identify and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate containment actions.
  • Assist in root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
  • Conduct product audits and first article inspections to ensure adherence to engineering drawings and quality standards.
  • Support the calibration program for measuring and test equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality control or inspection role.
  • Proficiency with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and blueprint reading, including GD&T.
  • Basic understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer literacy for data entry, analysis, and report generation.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
  • Familiarity with CMM operation or programming
  • Internal auditing experience within a manufacturing environment
