Salary Range: $70,000 - $99,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Byron Center that are seeking skilled Quality Supervisors. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily quality control activities and inspection processes.
• Manage, train, and mentor quality inspection staff.
• Investigate non-conformances, root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Develop, implement, and enforce quality procedures and work instructions.
• Ensure products and processes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze quality data, identify trends, and prepare performance reports.
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives for quality systems.

Recommended Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in a quality assurance role within a manufacturing environment, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, and 8D problem-solving.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of quality professionals.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles; certification is a plus.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Experience conducting internal or external quality system audits (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., medical devices, aerospace, automotive).
