Quality Supervisor | DeWitt, MI

Salary Range: $70,000 - $99,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in DeWitt that are seeking Quality Supervisors. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train a team of quality inspectors and technicians.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to quality control processes and standards throughout production.
• Investigate product non-conformances, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with industry standards.
• Conduct internal quality audits and support external audits to ensure compliance.
• Analyze quality data and generate reports to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee incoming material, in-process, and final product inspections.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing quality assurance or control role.
• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience in a production environment.
• Proficiency in quality management tools and methodologies (e.g., SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis).
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 or other relevant quality management system standards.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Lead Auditor certification.
• Proficiency with advanced statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) quality processes (e.g., APQP, PPAP).
