Salary Range: $77,000 - $117,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans and policies.
• Source, evaluate, and select new suppliers, establishing strong vendor relationships.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and favorable conditions.
• Oversee the procurement of raw materials, components, and MRO items, ensuring timely delivery.
• Monitor supplier performance, manage quality issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels.
• Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities without compromising quality or supply.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in purchasing or supply chain management, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills with a track record of cost reduction.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems for procurement, inventory, and supply chain operations.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics, and inventory control.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a purchasing team.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) or Lean Six Sigma.
• Proven experience in international sourcing and managing global supplier relationships.
• Strong data analysis skills for cost optimization and supplier performance evaluation.
