Salary Range: $72,000 - $111,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to processes, equipment, and product quality.
• Specify, procure, and qualify new equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) from prototype to full-scale production.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and areas for process improvement.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or a related engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, preferably in a production environment.
• Proven ability to apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for design and analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis for production issues.
• Experience with process automation, tooling design, and DFM/DFA principles.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Experience with advanced simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim).
• Proficiency in PLC programming or industrial automation scripting.
• Familiarity with specific MES/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex) beyond user-level interaction.
