Salary Range: $77,000 - $117,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize inventory levels to meet production demands while minimizing carrying costs.
• Oversee the procurement process for raw materials, components, and MRO items.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring performance.
• Implement and manage material planning systems (e.g., MRP, ERP) to ensure efficient material flow.
• Lead and develop the materials team, including purchasing, inventory control, and warehousing staff.
• Collaborate with production, sales, and engineering to develop accurate material forecasts and production plans.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in material management processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in supply chain, inventory, and logistics management within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) for planning, procurement, and inventory control.
• Strong analytical skills for demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and data-driven decision making.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities, including supplier negotiation and relationship building.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field.

Bonus Qualifications

• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Advanced proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for supply chain optimization.
• Experience with WMS/MRP system implementation or significant optimization projects.
