Salary Range: $52,000 - $79,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Perform calibration and maintenance of precision measurement equipment.
- Conduct dimensional inspections of manufactured components using various metrology tools.
- Operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and other automated inspection systems.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) specifications.
- Document and report inspection results, maintaining accurate calibration and measurement records.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with measurement equipment and inspection processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements.
Recommended Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Metrology, Quality Assurance, Machining, or a related technical field.
- 2+ years of experience as a Metrology or Quality Technician in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using a wide range of precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, optical comparators).
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex engineering blueprints, specifications, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Experience operating and performing basic programming for Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) using industry-standard software.
Bonus Qualifications
- CMM programming experience (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso)
- ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) certification
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for model interpretation
