Salary Range: $53,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Perform calibration and preventative maintenance on metrology equipment and gauges.
- Conduct precise dimensional measurements of manufactured parts using CMMs, optical comparators, and hand tools.
- Analyze measurement data and generate detailed inspection reports.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to measurement accuracy and equipment functionality.
- Ensure all measurement activities comply with quality standards (e.g., ISO, AS9100) and internal procedures.
- Assist in the development and validation of new measurement programs and techniques.
- Maintain accurate calibration records and equipment history logs.
Recommended Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating and calibrating various metrology instruments (e.g., CMM, calipers, micrometers, optical comparators).
- Ability to accurately read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Strong understanding of measurement principles, calibration standards, and measurement uncertainty.
- Experience with metrology software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso) and data analysis.
- Aptitude for troubleshooting measurement issues and ensuring product quality standards.
- Relevant technical certification or Associate's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Bonus Qualifications
- Programming experience with CMM software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso) or scripting languages.
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) for model-based inspection and design interpretation.
- Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods and software for data analysis.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
