Salary Range: $68,000 - $102,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead.
• Analyze production costs, variances, and inventory valuations.
• Prepare detailed cost reports and profitability analyses for management.
• Manage inventory costing, including valuation, reconciliation, and obsolescence.
• Identify and implement cost reduction and process improvement opportunities.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting related to manufacturing costs.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of cost accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, cost accounting principles, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced modules of manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP CO-PC, Oracle Cost Management).
• Proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau for cost analysis.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Advanced Excel skills, including VBA, Power Query, or financial modeling.
• Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation.
