Salary Range: $53,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using various testing devices.
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical components and control systems.
• Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Work with PLCs, VFDs, and other industrial automation control systems.
• Adhere to all safety regulations, electrical codes (e.g., NFPA 70E), and company policies.
• Execute new electrical installations and upgrades for manufacturing equipment.

Recommended Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification/apprenticeship.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial electrical systems (up to 480V, 3-phase).
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems.
• Strong understanding of motor controls, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and industrial instrumentation.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and NFPA 70E.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC programming and advanced diagnostics (beyond basic troubleshooting).
• Proficiency in robotics and automated material handling systems.
• Knowledge of industrial instrumentation and control systems (e.g., calibration, loop tuning).
• Certification or specialized training in high-voltage distribution systems (e.g., 4800V, 13.8kV).
