Salary Range: $84,000 - $129,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design, program, and implement PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for new and existing production lines.
• Develop and integrate robotic applications, vision systems, and motion control solutions to enhance manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex automation system failures to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
• Lead the commissioning and validation of new automated equipment and software, ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and define project requirements.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including electrical schematics, software code, and operational procedures.
• Provide technical support and training to maintenance technicians and operators on automation systems.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) and HMI/SCADA development.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting automation systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with industrial robotics (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB) and machine vision systems.
• Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet) and data acquisition.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced robotics applications (e.g., collaborative robots, vision-guided systems).
• Proficiency in machine vision system integration and programming (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
• Familiarity with industrial data analytics platforms or Manufacturing Execution System (MES) integration.
• Knowledge of industrial cybersecurity principles and OT network security.
