EHS Manager | Delta Township, MI

Salary Range: $79,000 - $124,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal EHS regulations and company standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
• Conduct EHS risk assessments and implement control measures to mitigate hazards.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
• Develop and deliver EHS training programs for all employees and contractors.
• Manage EHS data, metrics, and reporting to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee emergency preparedness and response plans, including drills and equipment maintenance.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related scientific field.
• 5+ years of progressive EHS management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Comprehensive knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other federal/state EHS regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and manage effective EHS programs and management systems.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with a proven track record of fostering a safety culture.
• Professional EHS certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH) are highly preferred.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
• Experience implementing and maintaining ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 management systems.
• Proficiency with advanced EHS data analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Prior experience in a heavily unionized manufacturing environment.
