Salary Range: $69,000 - $108,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and design new products, components, and systems for manufacturing.
• Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and BOMs using CAD software.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, production, and R&D teams to ensure design manufacturability and cost-efficiency.
• Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes to meet product requirements and industry standards.
• Participate in prototyping, testing, and validation of designs to ensure performance and reliability.
• Conduct design reviews and implement feedback for continuous product improvement.
• Analyze and resolve design-related production issues or product failures.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, Inventor) and PDM systems.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (e.g., machining, injection molding, sheet metal) and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles.
• Expertise in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and creating detailed engineering drawings.
• Experience with material selection, stress analysis, and structural validation methods (e.g., FEA).

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) or other simulation tools.
• Hands-on experience with prototyping, machining, or fabrication processes.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards.
