Salary Range: $69,000 - $103,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard costs for all manufactured products and processes.
• Analyze manufacturing variances (material, labor, overhead) and report on root causes.
• Prepare detailed cost of goods sold (COGS) reports and inventory valuations.
• Conduct regular inventory reconciliations and assist with physical inventory counts.
• Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes with cost data and analysis.
• Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities and process efficiencies.
• Provide accurate and timely cost information to management for strategic decision-making.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of cost accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced ERP module configuration or implementation (e.g., SAP CO, Oracle Cost Management).
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification/experience.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Advanced Excel skills (VBA, Power Query, Power Pivot) or SQL for data analysis.
