Salary Range: $49,000 - $81,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Manistee that are seeking Maintenance Technicians. Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Execute corrective maintenance to address breakdowns and ensure minimal downtime.
• Install, commission, and calibrate new manufacturing equipment and systems.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, Lockout/Tagout procedures, and company policies.
• Identify and implement improvements to optimize equipment performance and reliability.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience with industrial electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing PLCs, VFDs, and control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for complex equipment failures.
• Adherence to safety protocols and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Technical degree or certification in a relevant field (e.g., Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics).

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with welding and fabrication techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick).
• Advanced PLC programming or HMI development experience.
• HVAC or refrigeration system troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Precision machining skills (e.g., lathe, mill operation).
• Prior experience with CMMS administration or optimization.
