Salary Range: $59,000 - $91,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Interprets blueprints and engineering specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Operates a variety of machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and drill presses.
• Performs precision measurements using instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Designs and fabricates jigs, fixtures, dies, and other tooling.
• Troubleshoots and repairs existing tooling to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
• Collaborates with engineers and production staff to optimize tooling designs for manufacturability.

Recommended Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized Tool & Die apprenticeship or equivalent on-the-job training.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Tool Maker in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of GD&T principles and application.
• Demonstrated expertise in operating manual and CNC machine tools (e.g., lathes, mills, grinders, EDMs).
• Experience with precision measuring instruments and inspection techniques.
