Salary Range: $48,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding operations using various techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) to fabricate and repair components.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine welding requirements and procedures.
- Inspect welded joints and structures for quality, accuracy, and adherence to established standards and codes.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment, tools, and machinery, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
- Troubleshoot welding issues and implement corrective actions to optimize weld quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to develop and improve welding processes and procedures.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE, to maintain a safe work environment.
Recommended Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Welding Technology or a related field.
- AWS Certified Welder certification (e.g., D1.1, D1.2, D1.3, D1.6).
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing welding, preferably in a production environment.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
- Strong understanding of various welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) and their applications.
- Experience with weld inspection techniques and quality control procedures.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with robotic welding systems.
- AWS CWI or CWI-M certification.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with NDT methods (UT, MT, PT, RT).
- CAD software experience (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
