Our Inspection Company, a reputable 3rd party inspection lab, is seeking a meticulous NDT Level II X-Ray/CT Examiner to join our dedicated team in Michigan. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct precise NDT examinations using digital X-Ray and Computed Tomography (CT) systems.
- Evaluate inspection images and data against engineering drawings and quality specifications.
- Create detailed and accurate inspection reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain and troubleshoot NDT equipment, ensuring optimal operational readiness.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their specific inspection needs and provide expert feedback.
- Ensure all work is performed in strict adherence to safety and quality protocols.
Recommended Qualifications:
- ASNT NDT Level II certification in Radiographic Testing (RT) and/or Computed Tomography (CT).
- Solid proficiency in operating various industrial X-Ray and CT equipment.
- Keen eye for detail and exceptional ability to detect and categorize discontinuities.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple inspection tasks efficiently.
- Proven capability to work autonomously and take ownership of assignments.
- Willingness and desire to relocate to Michigan.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with automated inspection systems.
- Familiarity with different material properties and their impact on NDT results.
- Proficient in using data analysis and reporting software.
- Experience in root cause analysis for identified defects.
