Salary Range: $62,000 - $92,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Operate, program, and set up advanced CNC and manual machining equipment for precision part production.
- Lead and mentor a team of machinists, providing technical guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Ensure all machined components meet strict quality standards through meticulous inspection and measurement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex machining issues, optimizing processes for efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to interpret blueprints, develop machining strategies, and improve manufacturing methods.
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and minor repairs on machinery to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and procedures.
Recommended Qualifications
- Extensive experience operating, setting up, and troubleshooting CNC and manual mills, lathes, and grinders.
- Proficient in G-code programming and utilizing CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM) for complex part manufacturing.
- Expert ability to interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Proven experience leading, training, and mentoring a team of machinists, including task delegation and quality oversight.
- Strong problem-solving skills for process optimization, troubleshooting machining issues, and ensuring precision quality control.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidCAM) for programming and optimization.
- Proficiency in advanced metrology tools such as CMMs or optical comparators.
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring junior machinists or conducting on-the-job training.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
