Salary Range: $62,000 - $92,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, program, and set up advanced CNC and manual machining equipment for precision part production.
• Lead and mentor a team of machinists, providing technical guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Ensure all machined components meet strict quality standards through meticulous inspection and measurement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex machining issues, optimizing processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to interpret blueprints, develop machining strategies, and improve manufacturing methods.
• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and minor repairs on machinery to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, ensuring adherence to all safety protocols and procedures.

Recommended Qualifications

• Extensive experience operating, setting up, and troubleshooting CNC and manual mills, lathes, and grinders.
• Proficient in G-code programming and utilizing CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks CAM) for complex part manufacturing.
• Expert ability to interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Proven experience leading, training, and mentoring a team of machinists, including task delegation and quality oversight.
• Strong problem-solving skills for process optimization, troubleshooting machining issues, and ensuring precision quality control.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidCAM) for programming and optimization.
• Proficiency in advanced metrology tools such as CMMs or optical comparators.
• Demonstrated experience in mentoring junior machinists or conducting on-the-job training.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
