Salary Range: $69,000 - $103,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shop operations, ensuring production schedules are met efficiently.
• Supervise, train, and mentor shop floor employees, fostering a productive and safe work environment.
• Monitor work quality and adherence to specifications, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Manage inventory of materials, tools, and equipment, initiating requisitions for replenishment.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.
• Troubleshoot production issues and equipment malfunctions, coordinating repairs and maintenance.
• Collaborate with management and other departments to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
• Maintain accurate production records and report on key performance indicators.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing shop environment, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, machinery operation, and quality control standards.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills to effectively manage and motivate a workforce.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
• - Experience with ERP/MRP systems
• - Proficiency in CAD software for tooling or fixture design
• - Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment
