Salary Range: $65,000 - $98,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shop operations and ensure production targets are met.
• Supervise and manage a team of shop floor employees, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment, enforcing safety regulations and procedures.
• Ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, and coordinate with procurement.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Train and mentor new employees on shop procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
• Collaborate with management to plan production schedules and resource allocation.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of production processes and machinery.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a workforce.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address production issues effectively.
