Salary Range: $51,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Train and mentor shipping and receiving team members, providing guidance and support.
• Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
• Coordinate with production, logistics, and customer service to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage, discrepancies, and compliance with standards.
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records, including bills of lading and packing slips.
• Resolve shipping and receiving issues and discrepancies promptly and effectively.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in a shipping and receiving environment, preferably in manufacturing.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics setting.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems (e.g., WMS, ERP) and shipping software.
• Strong understanding of shipping documentation, including bills of lading and packing slips.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, and operate material handling equipment.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)
• - Forklift certification or experience operating forklifts
• - Knowledge of inventory control techniques
• - Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles
