Salary Range: $59,000 - $89,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• - Prepare and review journal entries for accuracy and completeness.
• - Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets.
• - Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes.
• - Support the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as needed.
• - Aid in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• - Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• - Participate in inventory count procedures and related cost accounting analyses.
• - Collaborate with operational departments to understand manufacturing costs and variances.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks Enterprise) and advanced Excel skills.
• Understanding of Cost Accounting principles, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Experience with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with ERP systems commonly used in manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
• - Familiarity with cost accounting principles and variance analysis specific to manufacturing
• - Certification such as CPA or CMA
• - Experience with inventory valuation methods (e.g., FIFO, LIFO, weighted-average)
