Salary Range: $92,000 - $139,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex Six Sigma projects from initiation to closure, focusing on improving manufacturing processes and reducing defects.
• Coach and mentor Green Belts and other team members in Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
• Analyze manufacturing data to identify root causes of problems and develop data-driven solutions.
• Facilitate cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and ensure sustainability of gains.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including charters, status reports, and final reports.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction within the manufacturing environment.
• Train employees on Six Sigma principles and their application in daily operations.
• Champion a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making throughout the manufacturing organization.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven track record of successfully leading and completing multiple complex Six Sigma projects in a manufacturing environment.
• Deep understanding of statistical analysis tools and techniques, including DOE, SPC, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis.
• Extensive experience in applying DMAIC and DMADV methodologies to solve manufacturing process issues and drive continuous improvement.
• Strong leadership and team facilitation skills, with the ability to mentor Green Belts and influence stakeholders across different departments.
• Proficiency in manufacturing operations, including production processes, quality control, supply chain, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and data-driven decision-making abilities.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with advanced statistical software beyond Minitab (e.g., R, Python with statistical libraries)
• - Professional Engineering (PE) license
• - Prior experience leading cross-functional project teams in a unionized manufacturing environment
• - Certification in Lean Manufacturing or other related continuous improvement methodologies
