Salary Range: $53,000 - $83,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze customer Request for Quotes (RFQs), blueprints, and specifications to determine project requirements.
• Calculate detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, tooling, and overhead for manufacturing projects.
• Develop competitive and profitable pricing strategies in alignment with company objectives.
• Prepare and submit accurate, professional, and timely proposals to prospective and existing customers.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and production teams to ensure quote accuracy and manufacturability.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all quotes, revisions, and related documentation within the CRM/ERP system.
• Follow up on submitted quotes to track status, address customer inquiries, and facilitate order conversion.

Recommended Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in quoting, estimating, or sales support within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Advanced proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel for cost analysis and quote generation.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and analytical skills for accurate cost, margin, and lead time calculations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with customers and internal teams.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Configure Price Quote (CPQ) software.
• Proficiency with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) beyond basic data entry.
• Basic understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles for process optimization.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VBA, pivot tables, complex formulas).
