Salary Range: $52,000 - $82,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze customer RFQ packages, including drawings, specifications, and Bills of Material (BOMs), to understand project requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and purchasing departments to gather accurate cost data for materials, labor, and tooling.
• Develop detailed cost estimates and pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
• Prepare and submit professional, accurate, and timely quotations to customers.
• Communicate effectively with sales and customers to clarify technical details and address inquiries related to quotes.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all quotes, revisions, and related documentation.
• Review and understand manufacturing processes and capabilities to accurately assess production feasibility and costs.

Recommended Qualifications

• Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and associated cost drivers.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and quoting software.
• 3+ years of experience in a quoting, estimating, or sales support role within manufacturing.
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail and accuracy in calculating costs and preparing proposals.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Epicor) or CRM software.
• Familiarity with interpreting engineering drawings or technical specifications.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions for data analysis and cost modeling.
• Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
