Validation Engineer | Muskegon, MI

Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute validation protocols for manufacturing equipment, processes, and software.
• Document all validation activities, including protocol deviations and resolution.
• Perform IQ, OQ, and PQ for new and modified manufacturing systems.
• Analyze validation data and generate comprehensive validation reports.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, FDA, and other relevant regulatory guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve validation-related issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance) to define validation requirements.
• Participate in regulatory inspections and audits.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical) or a related scientific field.
• Proven experience in validating manufacturing processes and equipment, including IQ, OQ, and PQ.
• Strong understanding of GMP, FDA regulations, and relevant industry standards.
• Experience with developing and executing validation protocols and reports.
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical methods for validation.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software and analysis
• - Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and methodologies
• - Working knowledge of automated testing frameworks and scripting (e.g., Python, LabVIEW)
• - Experience with data visualization tools for reporting and analysis
