Salary Range: $49,000 - $74,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products against specifications.
- Utilize precision measurement equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM) to verify product conformance.
- Document inspection results accurately in quality records and databases, generating reports as required.
- Identify and segregate non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate non-conformance procedures.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to investigate root causes of defects and support corrective actions.
- Maintain calibration status of inspection tools and equipment, performing basic maintenance as needed.
- Adhere strictly to quality control procedures, safety regulations, and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
Recommended Qualifications
- Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, height gauges) to verify product dimensions.
- Solid understanding of quality control principles, inspection methods, and non-conformance reporting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong observational skills for identifying defects.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry, report generation, and record keeping.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) methodologies.
- Certifications in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) methods (e.g., UT, PT, MT).
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or equivalent experience.
- Ability to interpret and apply advanced Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) concepts.
