Salary Range: $72,000 - $111,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of Lean manufacturing principles and tools (e.g., 5S, SMED, Kanban, Value Stream Mapping) across production areas.
• Identify, analyze, and eliminate waste (Muda) in all manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Facilitate and lead continuous improvement (Kaizen) events and projects to optimize workflows, reduce lead times, and enhance product quality.
• Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on Lean methodologies and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Conduct process analysis, time studies, and data collection to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
• Design and optimize manufacturing layouts and work cells to improve material flow and operational efficiency.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Lean initiatives, ensuring sustainable gains.

Recommended Qualifications

• Deep understanding and practical application of Lean principles and tools (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, VSM, SMED).
• Proven experience in process improvement, waste reduction, and efficiency optimization within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Ability to lead, facilitate, and implement continuous improvement projects.
• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
• Experience with simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim) for process modeling
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Exposure to Industry 4.0 concepts, automation, or digital manufacturing initiatives
• Proven ability to train and mentor others in Lean methodologies
