Salary Range: $67,000 - $99,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the tool room, ensuring efficient workflow and resource allocation.
• Manage inventory of tools, dies, fixtures, and other manufacturing equipment, including ordering, receiving, and tracking.
• Supervise and train tool room personnel, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance.
• Implement and enforce safety regulations and procedures within the tool room environment.
• Maintain and repair tools and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and minimize downtime.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for tooling and machinery.
• Collaborate with production and engineering departments to identify tooling needs and resolve manufacturing issues.
• Maintain accurate records of tool usage, maintenance, repairs, and inventory levels.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in tool room operations and maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and equipment.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management and control of tooling and spare parts.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Knowledge of quality control procedures and standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• - Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• - Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Manufacturing Execution System (MES) software.
• - Certification in inventory management or supply chain logistics.
• - Basic understanding of CNC machining and tooling maintenance.
