Salary Range: $66,000 - $104,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for all manufacturing personnel, including new hires and existing employees.
  • Identify training needs through performance reviews, skill gap analysis, and input from department supervisors.
  • Design, create, and deliver engaging training materials in various formats (e.g., presentations, manuals, videos, hands-on exercises).
  • Coordinate and schedule training sessions, ensuring minimal disruption to production schedules.
  • Track and measure the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Maintain accurate training records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, new technologies, and relevant regulations to enhance training content.
  • Collaborate with department managers and subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate and relevant to operational needs.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Ability to assess training needs and develop effective training plans and materials.
  • Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and other training technologies.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and their application in training.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) specifically for manufacturing environments.
  • Certification in instructional design or adult learning principles.
  • Experience with e-learning development tools and platforms.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement train-the-trainer programs.
