Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems and schematics for manufacturing equipment.
• Program, troubleshoot, and optimize PLCs, HMIs, and other automation devices.
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical failures in production machinery to minimize downtime.
• Lead electrical aspects of new equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning projects.
• Ensure all electrical systems comply with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for electrical infrastructure and equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives for electrical processes.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, and control circuits.
• Proficiency with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and industrial automation systems.
• Experience in troubleshooting electrical equipment and optimizing manufacturing processes.
• Familiarity with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical) and creating technical documentation.
• Knowledge of safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E) and electrical codes applicable to manufacturing environments.

Bonus Qualifications

• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and HMI development.
• Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Profinet).
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
