Salary Range: $79,000 - $113,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the Quality Management System (QMS) maintains full compliance with IATF 16949 standards.
• Lead problem-solving activities for internal and external quality issues using structured methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa).
• Develop, implement, and maintain APQP documentation including FMEAs, Control Plans, and PPAP submissions.
• Conduct internal audits and support external IATF and customer audits to verify QMS effectiveness.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focusing on defect reduction and process optimization.
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, root causes, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to resolve quality concerns and ensure product conformity.

Recommended Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge and practical application experience of IATF 16949 quality management system requirements.
• Proficiency in core automotive quality tools including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA.
• Demonstrated expertise in problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Experience conducting internal and supplier quality audits, including audit planning and reporting.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, apply statistical methods, and drive continuous improvement.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Quality) or a related technical field.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
• Proficiency with Minitab or other statistical analysis software.
• VDA 6.3 Process Auditor qualification.
• Experience with customer-specific quality portals and requirements (e.g., GM BIQS, Ford Q1).
