Salary Range: $84,000 - $124,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities and manage Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions.
- Drive complex root cause analysis (RCA) and implement robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for internal and external quality issues.
- Develop, implement, and optimize quality control plans, inspection methods, and test procedures for new and existing products.
- Utilize advanced statistical techniques to analyze quality data, identify trends, and drive data-driven process improvements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure quality requirements are integrated throughout the product lifecycle.
- Facilitate and lead continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, and other problem-solving methodologies.
- Support supplier quality development, audits, and non-conformance resolution to ensure component quality.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing) or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Expertise in advanced quality planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
- Demonstrated proficiency in leading complex root cause analysis (e.g., 8D) and implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification or equivalent professional certification.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 quality management systems.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean/Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification.
- Experience applying predictive analytics or machine learning in quality improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency in advanced statistical programming languages (e.g., R, Python) for complex data analysis.
- ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) certification or significant experience leading external quality system audits.
