Salary Range: $47,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and configure manufacturing machinery and equipment for production runs.
• Install, align, and adjust tooling, dies, and fixtures according to specifications.
• Perform first-piece inspections to ensure part quality and adherence to blueprints.
• Troubleshoot and resolve setup-related issues, minor equipment malfunctions, or quality deviations.
• Optimize machine parameters and settings to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Complete and maintain accurate setup sheets, production logs, and other documentation.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and quality standards during setup operations.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience in machine setup, adjustment, and operation within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving equipment issues.
• Familiarity with various hand and power tools, as well as precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
• Understanding of manufacturing safety protocols and quality control standards.

Bonus Qualifications

• CNC programming experience (G-code/M-code)
• Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles understanding
• Experience troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software
• Certification or experience operating forklifts/overhead cranes
