Salary Range: $40,000 - $65,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and configure manufacturing machinery and equipment for production runs.
• Install, adjust, and calibrate tooling, dies, and fixtures according to specifications.
• Perform first-piece inspections and make precise adjustments to meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, or programming issues during setup.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance and minor repairs on production equipment.
• Document setup parameters, machine settings, and process adjustments accurately.
• Collaborate with production operators and quality control to optimize machine performance.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in machine setup, calibration, and tooling changeovers.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing production environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read blueprints or technical schematics.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills for production equipment and setup issues.
• Adherence to safety protocols and quality standards in a manufacturing setting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with PLC or HMI troubleshooting/basic programming.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., SMED) or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proficiency with advanced metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, vision systems).
• Basic CAD software experience for reviewing designs or creating simple fixtures.
