Salary Range: $68,000 - $102,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans and procedures.
• Conduct root cause analysis for non-conformances and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Perform internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, drive continuous improvement, and report performance.
• Participate in New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including APQP and PPAP submissions.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Manage supplier quality, including supplier evaluation, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing) or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC).
• Demonstrated ability in root cause analysis, corrective actions (e.g., 8D), and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills, including statistical analysis and data interpretation.
• Familiarity with metrology, inspection techniques, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

Bonus Qualifications

• Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
• Proficiency with advanced statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
• Experience with industry-specific quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 13485)
• Advanced proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
