Salary Range: $69,000 - $98,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of quality inspectors and technicians.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality management systems, industry standards, and customer specifications.
• Oversee all inspection activities, including incoming materials, in-process production, and final product release.
• Lead investigations into non-conformances, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, drive continuous improvement, and reduce defects.
• Develop and deliver training programs for quality personnel on new procedures, equipment, and quality tools.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits, ensuring compliance and addressing findings.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 3-5+ years of quality assurance/control experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and core quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, RCA, 8D).
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and using various measurement equipment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team, with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., medical device, automotive, aerospace).
• ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) or Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification.
• Proficiency with advanced statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
• Demonstrated experience implementing Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
