Quality Supervisor | Holt, MI

Salary Range: $71,000 - $100,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and train quality control personnel and technicians.
• Oversee all quality control processes, inspections, and testing activities.
• Ensure strict adherence to internal quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO).
• Investigate product non-conformances, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Maintain and update quality documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and inspection records.
• Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, report on quality performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and enhance product quality.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience in a manufacturing quality assurance or quality control role.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
• Proficiency in quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, and MSA.
• Demonstrated ability in root cause analysis and implementing corrective/preventive actions (e.g., 8D methodology).
• Familiarity with various inspection methods, metrology equipment, and blueprint reading.

Bonus Qualifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
• Experience with specific QMS software (e.g., SAP QM, MasterControl)
• Internal or Lead Auditor certification (e.g., ISO 9001)
• Demonstrated experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., medical devices, aerospace)
• Proficiency in advanced statistical analysis tools or software (e.g., Minitab)
