Salary Range: $81,000 - $121,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery performance.
• Source, evaluate, and manage relationships with key suppliers and vendors globally.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure favorable agreements.
• Monitor market trends, commodity prices, and supply chain risks to inform purchasing decisions.
• Collaborate with production and inventory teams to ensure optimal material availability and inventory levels.
• Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives without compromising product quality or lead times.
• Ensure all purchased materials and services comply with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Recommended Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in purchasing or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in supplier negotiation, contract management, and developing strategic vendor relationships.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software.
• Strong analytical skills with a proven track record in strategic sourcing, cost reduction, and market analysis.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience managing a purchasing team.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced ERP/MRP system optimization (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Plex).
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
• Proven experience in international sourcing and global supplier development.
