Salary Range: $78,000 - $123,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for manufacturing initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and on-time delivery of manufacturing projects.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues specific to production and operational changes.
  • Monitor project progress, report status to stakeholders, and manage expectations across departments.
  • Ensure projects adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
  • Manage vendor relationships and procurement activities for project materials, equipment, and services.
  • Facilitate post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.

Recommended Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and quality systems (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • PMP certification or proven expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira) and ERP systems common in manufacturing.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, particularly with cross-functional technical teams.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
  • Proficiency with manufacturing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Epicor)
  • Familiarity with industry-specific quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949)
  • Experience with CAD software or interpreting complex technical drawings
